INSTRUCTIONS
ScoolTunes factory Mastering Engineers will evaluate your audio for FREE. Have an experienced set of ears listen to and evaluate your audio. There is absolutely no charge for this service. Within 72 hours upon receipt of the necessary materials, we will call or send you an email with feedback regarding your recorded tracks.
NOTE: Our feedback will be an evaluation of your recordings from a technical perspective, only. We WILL NOT send you any feedback regarding your creative or artistic abilities. Please do not ask for it.
Here’s how:
1) Print out this form and fill it out.
2) Send the completed form and your audio CD to the following address:

IMPORTANT: Include a copy of your material on a playable audio CD. This disk will not be returned to you. Follow these steps when burning a master.

1. Ensure the CD-RW drive is clean. Run a lens cleaner through your drive if you have not cleaned your drive recently. You can find them at your local electronics store for about $20.
2. Use high-density media (CD-Rs). Recommended brands are Apogee (available at Guitar Center Stores), HHB, Mitsui, Maxell, and Taiyo Yuden. Use only the brands recommended here.
3. Burn speed should be approx. 15-30% of the drive's maximum capacity. I.e. For a 52x burner, the optimal burn speed would be from 12-16x.
4. Make sure to burn the disk using DISK-AT-ONCE, NOT TRACK-AT-ONCE. This is very important. This option can usually be found under a preference/option menu.
5. Mail in the master enclosed in a CD Envelope, NOT a Jewel case.
6. MAKE SURE THE DISK IS NOT SCRATCHED. This might seem obvious but anything with noticeable scratches (even the very lightest scratches) could ruin an entire master.
7. DO NOT WRITE ON THE CD. Include the order# on the envelope or on the packaging used to mail in your master.
8. Include a duplicate master to serve as a backup copy.
9. Listen to your master and backup CD from start to finish.

You have the option to approve a master disc that does not pass our Quality Control checks. You will be assuming the liability for any errors in the duplication including but not limited to skipping, pops, unwanted noises, etc.

IMPORTANT: Please preview your master for accuracy prior to submitting it for production. We are not liable for any content or program effectiveness.We can only guarantee Quality of the duplication process - not your content.
We do not duplicate mixed mode CDs or VCDs.

All submitted materials are retained. SEND ONLY A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL MASTER.

For Audio CD orders, DO NOT send us MP3 or WAV files copied on a disc. Please be sure to mail us a PLAYABLE Audio CD, otherwise your order may incur a mastering fee to re-create a copy of your master disc that we may work with.

NOTE: Remove any final limiters, maximizers, and compressors from the final bus. We cannot send you a demo if these effects have been used.
